- minimum: SketchUp requires .NET Framework 4.5.2 on Windows and an internet connection to install and authorize the subscription. The new graphics engine needs Metal 2 on Mac and DirectX 12 feature level 11.0 on Windows; unsupported GPUs fall back to the classic engine.
